The School District of Cheltenham Township announces the following support staff position is available for the 2018-2019 school-year in the C.L.A.S.P. Before-and-After School Day Care Program at School “To Be Determined”.
C.L.A.S.P. ASSISTANT GROUP SUPERVISOR – ELEMENTARY (K-6)
15 HRS. PER WEEK – TIER I- $13.85 PER HOUR STARTING RATE
REQUIREMENTS:
An assistant group supervisor shall have attained one of the following qualification levels:
- A high school diploma or a general education development certificate and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
- A high school diploma or a general education development certificate, including 600 or more hours of secondary training described in Article 3270.32 ( c ) (relating to age and training).
- A high school diploma or a general education development certificate, 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university, in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and one year of experience with children.
- A high school diploma or a general education development certificate and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum described in Article 3270.31 (c ).
- A high school diploma or a general education development certificate and two years’ experience working with children.
- It is highly preferred that the candidate has SAC (School Age Credential) or CDA (Child Development Associate) AND 6 credits in Early Childhood Development.
